WHO WE ARE

The Italian Copper Institute is established in 1971 as no-profit organization; it operates in the information and technical-scientific promotional field of copper and copper alloys. IIR prosecues its statutes aim, thanks to a series of activities and initiatives (more details are shown in the next pages) as the technical -informatives, for specialists, educational materials realization, publications, video etc, technical assistance aimed to copper use optimation, the cooperation with Standardisation Bodies, the help given to Universities and Research Centres. IIR is the Italian Body of a worldwide promotional centres net, (for other sites pages, please find "other sites" ) well known in all over the world that operates under the supervision of ICA (International Copper Association) in New York (U.S.A.) and the coordination of ECI (European Copper Institute) in Bruxelles. Besides, IIR cooperates with the Europan Campaigns ECPPC (European Copper Plumbing Promotion Campaign) , and ECAC (Campagna Europea del Rame in Architettura).
